Candied Pecans

{Candied Pecans}

I LOVE roasted pecans and almonds.
These candied pecans are similar to the ones they roast at the mall.
You know the amazing aroma we smell as we shop.
Truth is we only get to the mall a few times a year.  But we always buy some of these.
Now you can create them at home. Filling our homes with that wonderful aroma.

Pecans (or almonds) Sugar, Egg White, Salt, Cinnamon, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Water

Place the pecans in a bowl.  Coat with egg white. Cover with Sugar, Salt, Cinnamon, Spice, Water

Mix till well coated

Place on baking sheet and Bake 250'
30-35 min  Stir every 10 min
Cool
Enjoy!

Candied Pecans:

1/2 LB Pecan Halves
1 Egg White
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/2 TB Water
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Another great idea:

Grab some Planters Winter Spiced Nuts at the store

Roast in the oven at 250'  5-10 min

Cool. Serve .Enjoy!

As we enter into the Christmas Holiday season my prayer is you slow down.
Bless!  Don't Impress!
Enjoy the beautiful glow of a candle.  Turn off the television. Curl up with a good book.
Enjoy the warmth and joy of the season!
Blessings~

  3. My mom made the Candied Pecans and I roasted the Planters nuts this morning during our Christmas baking get-together. Don't ever do them both in the same day. Because everyone will eat all the candied pecans and wonder what's so special about the Planters. (hehe) The Planters are good but they don't hold a candle to the pecans. The pecans are AMAZING!!! Thanks for the great recipes! Keep 'em coming!
